Jamie is passionate about Oakland, its continuing renaissance, and her role in shaping amazing retail opportunities. She works through the various levels of the process - from development, to leasing and selling/purchasing of commercial retail properties. A former VP at Colliers International, Jamie specializes in urban street retail, neighborhood planning and place-making opportunities, representing both landlords and tenants. Her local expertise gives her intimate knowledge of who is in the market and allows her to provide a detailed, street-by-street perspective about the current real-estate market.

John is a Berkeley-based urban retail broker with a valuable 360° perspective on retail real-estate. John began his retail career in Los Angeles with Virgin Entertainment and counts the work in later opening his own retail store as a pivotal experience. He approaches tenant and landlord work through the lens of a retail entrepreneur. John is focused on project leasing in the Berkeley & Oakland markets and his work advising best-in-class retail brands on growth strategies. John grew up in England and is a graduate of UC Berkeley.

Kristel Railsback brings over ten years of experience in real estate development, overseeing projects including adaptive reuse, public-private partnerships, and naval base reuse with a strong focus on economic development and neighborhood revitalization. Kristel holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Pratt Institute, and a master’s degree in International Development from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
